Cowboys for Christ, Norco is an official chapter of Cowboys for Christ, based in Ft. Worth, Texas. Cowboys for Christ is an interdenominational ministry to cowboys and cowgirls. Our purpose is to reach the lost with the saving Gospel of JESUS CHRIST and to coordinate Christian fellowship between individuals, families and groups.
Cowboys for Christ is not in competition with any denominational group. Its function is to proclaim the WORD OF GOD. It is designed for outreach and building up the body of Christ, God’s blood-bought people. We seek to develop harmony through the work of the Holy Spirit to be an active force as we share the GOOD NEWS OF JESUS CHRIST throughout the cowboy world.
The purpose of Cowboys for Christ is to share JESUS CHRIST with those who don’t know HIM. As part of a chapter, you will discover a wonderful fellowship of new friends and learn from that experience of fellow cowboys and cowgirls to make a difference as you touch lives for our LORD and SAVIOR.
Yours Truly,
Your Norco Cowboys For Christ Chaplain

Love Thy Neighbor
Jesus showed love and forgiveness freely, even by giving up his life. He also taught that people should love others as they love themselves—
In Need of Prayer "PRAYER REQUESTS"
Philippians 4:6-7: This verse says to pray to God for everything you need and always to give thanks. It also says that God's peace will guard your mind and heart

Last weekend, Cowboys for Christ Norco had our first multi-day event, the Norco Mounted Posse Rodeo. The posse was kind enough to let us put up our tent and share the Good News of Jesus Christ with rodeo attendees and participants. The booth was crowded with many people curious about what we had to say and the volunteer staff was busy Friday through Sunday. As Chaplain, the rodeo gave me full access to the rodeo grounds which allowed me to go behind the chutes and pray with contestants all the way from veteran bull riders to 5 year old “mutton busters”. On Sunday we assisted with the Challenged Children’s Rodeo where we worked with challenged kids assisting them on simulated rodeo events such as bull riding, bronc riding, barrel racing and steer roping. It was just as much fun for the volunteers as it was for the kids. Sunday morning I was blessed with the opportunity to hold Cowboy Church in the rodeo grandstands. The crowd was small but appreciative; so much so that we have been asked back for next year. With only a couple of months as an official chapter of Cowboys for Christ, the Lord has opened many doors for us allowing us a great introduction to the Norco livestock community. I personally want to thank my fellow members of Cowboys for Christ who generously donated their time to this event. Without all the hard work from everyone outreach opportunities like this could not be done. Personally, on Monday morning I woke up tired but with a deep feeling of satisfaction that I don’t think I have ever had and I thought to myself, so this is what it feels like to work for God.
Blessings to all of you, ride straight, ride in love, and ride for His brand.

This last Saturday I had so much fun meeting the folks that came out to join in the Cowboys For Christ Norco chapter open house. I got a chance to minister to some of the kids along side of my own kids. After so much excitement my wife Kim finally got me slowed down enough that she was able to get a quick picture with me and one of my boys. Blake along side with his younger brother served a pivotal role in the creation of many of the games and the production of the branding iron. I couldn’t leave out my daughter Jenn who did the outstanding welding for the branding iron. I feel so truly blessed that our family was able to serve the Lord and hopefully help provide an opportunity for folks to come closer to Jesus. Thank you again to all of those who donated such amazing gifts and time into making this event happen. This is indeed a town that is filled with The Holy Spirt. GOD bless Norco!

Another function that has become the hallmark of the Cowboys For Christ ministry is conducting “Cowboy Church” at rodeos, horse shows, horse sales, trail rides, livestock events, state and county fairs and anywhere and everywhere that we are given the opportunity to minister. These “Cowboy Church” services provide Cowboys, Cowgirls, and everyone who is in the area an occasion to worship while traveling away from their local church. It is also a major evangelical movement now here i
